[User Registration]
Overview
Assign a random number to each user, and set user information for each number.
The displayed screen varies depending on the [User Authentication] setting.

Procedure (Registering a New User / Editing User Information)

To register a new user, click [New Registration]. To edit user information, click [Edit].
The setting screen is displayed.

Set [No.].
[Use opening number]: Automatically assigns an available number.
[Input directly]: Allows you to enter 1 to 500.
For editing, the registration number of the selected user is displayed. You cannot enter the number.

Enter [User Name] and [E-mail Address].
[User Name]: Can be specified using up to 64 single-byte characters (32 double-byte characters).
[E-mail Address]: Can be specified using up to 320 single-byte characters.
These items are not available when [User Authentication] is set to [ON (External Server)].

Enter [User Password], and also enter the same password again in [Retype User Password].
This item can be specified using up to 64 single-byte characters.
This item is not displayed when [User Authentication] is set to [ON (External Server)].

When [Synchronize User Authentication & Account Track] is set to [Synchronize], click [Search from List], and set the user's account track.
Select the radio button of the synchronous account track, and click [OK].

Set the functions available for the registered user in [Function Permission].
For details about [Function Permission], refer to [Default Function Permission].

Set the maximum value allowable for the registered user in [Max. Allowance Set].
[Management System]: Select [Total Allowance] or [Individual Allowance].
[Total Allowance]: Select the [Total] check box, and enter the maximum number of sheets as the sum of [Color] and [Black] printed sheets.
[Individual Allowance]: Select the [Color] or [Black] check box, and enter the maximum number of printed sheets for each item.

Click [OK].
The setting completion screen is displayed.

Click [OK].
Procedure (Deleting a User)

Click [Delete] of the user to delete.
The confirmation screen is displayed.
