[HDD Registration]

Overview

Register the HDD.

This function allows you to newly register, change, or delete a destination.

NOTICE

The authentication operation is always required to display the [Machine Manager Setting] screen. Pressing [Machine Manager Setting] displays the password entry screen. Enter "admin" in User Name, and the 8-character administrator password in Password.
Do not use the network scanner function while registering scan destination data.

Tips

You can only enter the characters and symbols that can be displayed on the control panel.
If you violate the character limitation or do not fill in a required field, [the settings are wrong] is displayed. Click [Back], and re-enter the value.

The registered destination data can be changed or deleted. For details, refer to [E-Mail Registration].

Setting items		[Registered Name]	Enter the name of the destination. This item can be specified using up to 24 single-byte characters (12 double-byte characters). When the registered name is omitted, [Box Name] is registered as [Registered Name]. The registered name is displayed on the [Registered List] screen.
		[Reference Name]	Enter text to search for a destination. This item can be specified using up to 24 single-byte characters (12 double-byte characters).
		[Box Name]	Sets the box number to be created as a destination. Available range: 000000001 to 999999998 The box number is registered with 9 digits. Example: If "1" is entered, "000000001" is displayed.
		[Password]	Enter the password of the box. This item can be specified using up to 8 single-byte characters. The password registration can be omitted.
		[Daily Use Registration]	Select this check box to register a destination as a frequently used one.
