What Is [Paper Measuring]?
Overview
If printing paper is not set properly, it may cause a finishing error.
[Paper Measuring] measures target paper using the media sensor mounted on this system even if the type or weight of the paper loaded in a paper tray is not known, thereby, enabling you to easily configure the appropriate paper setting.
[Paper Measuring] Order
The paper measurement order is as follows.
- Load paper into a paper tray.
- Select the paper tray loaded with paper on the [Paper Measuring] screen.
- Measure paper.
- Apply the measurement result to the paper tray.
Tips
The following types of paper are judged by [Paper Measuring]. For example, if colored paper is measured, it is judged to be fine paper.
- Plain paper
- Fine paper
- Coated paper (Glossy paper)
- Coated paper (Matte paper)
[Paper Measuring] items
Setting items | Description |
