This displays the name of the paper profile specified in [Reg./Del.PaperSet.]. We recommend that you set a paper profile name that makes it easy to distinguish the content and usage. | |
Sets the standard size, custom size, or tab paper size for the paper tray. | |
Sets the paper weight. Setting an incorrect weight may cause paper jams or double feed. | |
Sets the paper color. This function prevents image failures by setting the correct paper color. | |
Sets this item when loading punched paper into a paper tray. | |
Adjusts any misalignment of printing positions on the front and back sides in 2-sided printing. | |
Corrects the curling (arc-like distortion) of output paper for each paper tray. Straightening the rolled paper prevents paper jams and enables printing to be carried out without misalignments. | |

Paper types
Paper type | Description |
---|---|
[Plain] | Copy or print paper referred to as "PPC" paper that is used for copiers and printers, which does not normally use recycled paper. Set when plain paper or recycled paper is used in monochrome copying/printing. |
[Fine] | Non-coated paper generally used for offset printing. This paper type has a high degree of whiteness and is used for a range of purposes. |
[Color Specific] | Paper for color copying or printing to prevent the color from dulling on fine paper. |
[Coated-G] | Glossy coated paper (Coated-G). Select this item to reproduce color tones of a photo or image of which the surface is glossy. |
[Coated-M] | Matte coated paper (Coated-M). This type of paper is low gloss and facilitates easy reading of characters. So, select this item when images and text are arranged on the same page. |
[Envelope] | Set to use envelopes. |
[Textured] | Uneven paper with the surface embossed. |
